GENERALLY

Below we have summarized some general tips.

Electric scooters are designed with components that are sensitive to water and moisture. Our scooters can withstand a certain amount of moisture and are so-called IP approved. It is still recommended to dry the bike after use in wet weather and do not leave the bike outside in rainy and humid weather. If the product is damaged as a result of water damage, the warranty may not apply.

Do not place the electric scooter outdoors without protecting the product from rain.

Do not rinse the product with water. If the electric scooter needs cleaning, you can clean the product with a damp cloth or light rinse.
An electric scooter is a product that consists of a number of parts and components that can be sensitive to various influences. Please read the operating instructions before using the scooter.

Do not use the product without functional brakes.

Be sure to lock and store the electric scooter in a safe place. Theft or vandalism often occurs on this type of product.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

SN ERROR CODE

1. Check if you have the latest version of the “Eway Scooter” downloaded from Google Play Store or Apple App Store

2. Turn on scooter, open the app and connect to the scooter

3. Check that you have the latest firmware in the app (Settings -> Firmware Update)
(Continue to step 4 if the "SN" error is still showing in the scooters display)

4. Go to Settings -> Device Info. Then press and hold on the text “Bluetooth address” for 5 seconds. This should bring up a pop-up for obtaining new serial number. Press confirm to update the serial number.

5. Restart the scooter and test if the scooter works.

CR ERROR CODE

THE RANGE DOES NOT MATCH THE SPECIFIED RANGE

There are many factors that affect the range of an electric scooter. Driver's weight, possible load, road standard, slope (slopes), as well as the weather can affect the range. The more resistance the greater the consumption of battery capacity.

THE BRAKE DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE

The brakes wear out when you brake. This means that you may need to tighten / adjust them. A simple adjustment / tightening can be done by tightening the steel cable that goes through the brake hose. If this does not work, a service workshop should be contacted to change worn down parts.

WORN TIRES

All E-Way models have puncture-free tires that do not need to be inflated. Over time, you may find that they are worn out and thus should be replaced.

THE SPEED DOES NOT MATCH THE STATED SPEED

There are several factors that affect speed. Driver weight, possible load, road standard, slope (slopes) etc. Several models from E-way have 3 speed settings. The speed can be adjusted in the app, Eway scooter, or by double-clicking the button in the display.

THE HANDLES ON MY E-600 WOBBLES

Adjust the screws underneath the handle

GAP AT THE FOLDING UNIT (Applies to E-600 only)

If the entire steering column moves while driving or has an opening at the transition, an adjustment of the screws in the folding unit may need to be made.

THE DEVICE IS NOT CHARGING

Try charging your device with a new charger. If the problem persists, there may be a problem with the battery. Contact the point of sale or our local service partner and they will help you further.

THE DEVICE DOES NOT START

THE DEVICE CANNOT BE SWITCHED OFF

THE GAS IS STUCK DURING USE
